This policy explains what data the Ashlands mobile game collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Android app distributed through Google Play.
Ashlands does not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera data, or anything from other apps.
We use Google services to run the game: Firebase (authentication and data storage), AdMob (advertising), and Google Play (distribution and billing). These providers process data on the basis described in Google's Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.
Account data and server-stored progress are kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (see below) they are removed. Local saves live on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Records of purchase transactions are retained by Google Play under Google's own policies.
You can request deletion of your Ashlands account and its associated data at any time — the steps are on the account & data deletion page. Deletion removes your account record (name, email, identifier) and any server-stored progress and entitlement records, normally within 30 days.
Ashlands is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Account data and server-stored progress are held in Google Firebase, which encrypts data in transit and at rest. Access is limited to what the game itself needs to function.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can exercise deletion yourself via the page above; for anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
If we change this policy we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the game or its store listing.
